Must visit bakery in Lansdowne. It was recommended by the daughter of GM of GMVN Tiffin Top and I would always be indebted to her for this. This place is amazing - as soon as you enter, you will be filled with the fresh aroma of the breads/buns/cakes. We bought almost everything - pastries, buns, rusk, bread and what not and still it costed us less than 1000 bucks. People are looting customers in Metros. The pastries and cream roll were so fresh that we all fought for each piece. We visited on 12th Jun, 2024 but writing it after an year - thats the impact it had. Must go place !!! Cantt bakery nahi gaye to kya Lansdowne gaye.
This is just a little bit off the main market. As soon as you enter the shop, you are greeted with sweet smell of breads. Had delicious cream roll and pastry. The cream on both the items were fresh and soft. Loved it. Couldn't buy more stuff as I was on a bike trip and had limited carrying capacity but would have tried more stuff otherwise
Must visit to get a feel of local vibes of this misty hill station. One of the few bakeries around and certainly the oldest one. Its a small time shop but they amazed me with the taste. It's located at the center of the town. The rates were very genuine as you'd expect. They have limited options but that's understandable. We enjoyed a visit to this place and certainly there'll be a few more visits.
